In the Print Using field, click on the drop-down menu and choose 'Select a driver to use.' Then quickly type in the appropriate phrase below in the spyglass window that pops up, which will match the appropriate driver. Then choose Add. 2822c - 28C-1 PS; 3200 - not supported at this time; 3622 - 36BW-2; 3622c - 36C-1 PS; 4222 - 42BW-2 PS; 4522c. Bizhub 3622 With fast 38 ppm print/copy output in high-resolution B&W, the bizhub 3622 can speed the flow of information with standard PCL and PostScript printer emulations and wireless connectivity, standard fax capability and simple operation — an ideal all-in-one solution for branch offices, small businesses, nurses' stations, schools, legal providers and retail locations.

I have recently added two Oce network multifunction printers (they also can fax, scan, scan with eCopy, scan to e-mail) to my small TCP/IP gigabit LAN in my office. The models are CM3522 and VarioLink 5522c. The printer drivers are labeled 'Generic 35C-4 PS' and 'Generic 45C-3 PS'. Both are represented to be compatible with Mac OS 10, but there is no version specific to 10.6. The 35C-4 that I currently have installed is represented to be for 10.3 and 10.4, while the 45C-3 is represented to be for 10.5. Whenever I try to print to the 45C machine from Mail, Mail crashes before the printer dialog even appears. However, when I try to print to the 45C machine from Word or Acrobat, there is no problem. The driver makes available all of the functionality of the printer. The 35C driver represented as working with 10.5 crashed everything when I tried to print, but since I downgraded to the 10.3/10.4 version of the 35C driver, I can print from Mail and other applications, but all of the options for output, tray, etc., are missing from the dialog.
I have looked at a number of other threads describing similar problems with similar drivers (they appear to have originated with Konica Minolta, with hybrid versions having been written for Oce). Those threads discussed workarounds involving deleting PDE files and changing ownership of the driver folder within the Library/Printers/KonicaMinolta folder. However, NONE OF THESE THREADS MENTIONED THE DRIVER WORKING WITH MICROSOFT WORD AND ACROBAT, BUT CRASHING MAIL. I would appreciate any insight that might be available out there to explain this anomaly, i.e., the driver works with Snow Leopard with Microsoft Word and Acrobat but crashes Mail. (I would also love a hint on how to get the 10.5 version of the 35C driver to work, but would be satisfied if I could get the 45C to work with Mail.)
I have a number of 10.5 and lower machines on my LAN that I would like to upgrade, but really can't until I get this driver situation resolved. I have communicated with the printer manufacturer and have been promised that 'new drivers are being worked on' but that no issue date can be promised. On the other hand, I have scoured the web for further clues and have found sites making clear the Konica Minolta has no intention of EVER upgrading the generic 45C and 35C drivers to be compatible with Snow Leopard.

Oce 3622 Driver For Mac Os

  1. If you're using Mac OS X 10.6.x (Snow Leopard), please click on the link for the VarioLink model of your printer, and installation software will be downloaded - but not installed on your computer. Amerie because i love it vol 1 zip of weed preventer.

    • 3200

At this time, the VL 3200X isn't supported on the Macintosh.

  2. The file you've downloaded will appear in your default Downloads folder. These are the various file names:

    • VL2222c_2822c_3622c_OS106_ver88.zip
    • VL5022_4222_3622_OS106.zip
    • VL4522c_VL5522c_VL6522c_OS106.zip
    • VL6022_VL7522_PS_OS10_6_v122_efigs_tc_inst.zip

In Safari, you can go to Window → Downloads, and click the spyglass icon next to the last file you've downloaded to navigate to the file. In Firefox, you can find the file in Tools → Downloads. (In Apple's Finder, select Go → Home, and double-click on the Downloads folder.) The file will be compressed in .zip or .sitx (StuffIt Expander) format. Double-clicking on this file will extract it to a folder with a similar name, or maybe just 'Untitled'. The final installer will be in Apple package (.pkg) format, which resembles an open brown box. Double-click on the .pkg file to run the installer, and follow the directions to complete the installation. At some point, you'll need to select your hard drive as the destination, and enter the Mac OS X account password, which is the same password you use to install Apple Software Updates.

  3. Now you're ready to add the printer to your Print and Fax preference pane.

    1. In the upper left of the screen, click and hold on the Apple icon (the items underneath are called the Apple Menu), and choose System Preferences. In the System Preferences window, under Hardware, double-click the Print & Fax preference pane.
    2. In the Printers area on the left hand side, select any old Imagistics printers, and press the '-' button underneath the Printers area to delete the old printer from your system.
    3. Press the '+' button.
    4. In the Add Printer windows, select the IP icon at the top.
    5. Select 'Line Printer Daemon - LPD' from the drop-down menu next to 'Protocol.'
    6. In the Address area, type in lowercase, with no quotes 'printers.usm.maine.edu'. Users on the Lewiston-Auburn campus should type 'lac1.uct.usm.maine.edu'.
    7. For the Queue, enter the name you see on the orange strip on the printer. It must be in uppercase, with no spaces. An example would be 'CEHD-VL3622-7'. Enter the same value in Name, for easy identification. The Location area isn't important, but you can enter anything you'd like if it helps you identify the printer.
    8. In the Print Using field, click on the drop-down menu and choose 'Select Printer Software.' In the window that pops up, you'll choose one of the GENERIC entries, depending on your model of printer.
      • 2822c - GENERIC 28C-1 PS
      • 3200 - not supported at this time
      • 3622 - GENERIC 36BW-2 PS
      • 3622c - GENERIC 36C-1 PS
      • 4222 - GENERIC 42BW-2 PS
      • 4522c - GENERIC 45C-3 PS
      • 6022 - GENERIC 60BW-2 PS

After you press the Add button, a window will pop up where you can indicate what options are installed. After making the choices, press the Continue button, and then close System Preferences:

    • 2822c, 3622, 3622c, 4222 - Paper Source Unit, Tray 3; Finisher, Finisher; Punch Unit, None; Hard Disk, checked
    • 3200x - No options
    • 4522c - Function Version (if present), Version 3; Paper Source Unit, None; Finisher, Finisher 2; Punch Unit, None; Hard Disk, checked
    • 6022 - no information at this time

You're done adding the printer. Spiritfarer - ost download for mac os.

  4. The most desired print options are probably stapling, and printing on both sides of the page (duplex printing). To set these options after you choose File → Print, find the Layout/Finish choice from one of the dropdown menus in the print window. In the Layout window, choose 2-sided under the Layout tab, and Staple - Left Corner under the Finish tab.
